Disney- Animal Kingdom

We had a really good day today.  Rode some fun rides... My favorite was Expedition Everest... We rode that twice!  I loved the safari ride, too, and the Lion King show we went to at the end of the day.

These are the buses you have to get to know well to get anywhere in the Disney complex.  I have a love/hate relationship with them.

We went to Old Key West after leaving Animal Kingdom to just chill out a bit.

This tasted pretty good!

We took this boat to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), and then caught a bus "home".

We finally got back to the RV about 8:30, and almost beat the rain.  According to the app on my phone, I took exactly 23,000 steps today, which transfers to 8.9 miles.  My legs feel like it!  

We'll have a little later start tomorrow morning, heading to Epcot.  I have a feeling we won't have any trouble sleeping tonight.

 

Disney!! Ft Wilderness Campground and RV Resort

This is from when we were going from the house to the RV storage area.  Bo blended in with the blanket pretty well!  I think if we traveled with Bo in the truck, things would go just fine.

We arrived at the RV park about 12:15.  They have a pretty slick check-in process, and get you all fixed up with arm bands and all the info you need to get to all the parks.  The guy even gave me a first-time visitor's button.

Brad says I'll get special stuff if I wear it to the parks.

After we got all set up, we set out to see what is in the campground.

We are going to dinner and a show this evening here in the campground, so we caught one of the many buses that provides transportation so we could check out where we need to be.

We'll take this boat to one of the parks this week.

Tonight we went to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, which takes place here at the campground.  Dinner, drinks, the show, all inclusive.
