Holcomb!!

A pretty super cool day...  we took off from Santa Rosa NM right about 8:00 this morning, and made it through the rest of New Mexico, a corner of Texas, the Panhandle of Oklahoma, and finally into Kansas and into the Piha driveway by 3:00, even losing an hour along the way.

Jackson was taking his nap when we first arrived, which I thought was funny, because when you tell him something is going to happen in the future, he always asks, "After my nap??"  So yes, we arrived after his nap.  😄

Jackson spent the afternoon saving me from dinosaurs and zombies while his momma stained the new kitchen cabinets they are putting in.

He had to supervise Papa Brad getting things hooked up.

He also helped his momma make some yummy marshmallow biscuits, and we all enjoyed just hanging out and catching up.  I was not exactly at my best when Jordan and Abby were down in Arizona to see us.

Tomorrow Jackson gets to hang out at home a little longer than normal in the morning.  I'll walk him over to his day care before we leave for dialysis in GC.

Jordan and Brad made a game plan for removing the rest of the old kitchen cabinets, and getting the new ones put in.  The plan is to have everything done by the time we all leave for Kansas City on Friday.  We'll see how that goes!!
