Since Diane and I have birthdays in October and November, Marilyn gave us the birthday presents she got us on Mackinac Island... Super cute purses! I've been wanting one like this, so I was really excited!
We're back "home" now, and Bo, who stayed here in Georgia and kept an eye on things for us, was glad to see us! No baseball of significance is on tonight... "Just" the National League game, so we're listening and just relaxing and enjoying being back home, although Dale and Diane took good care of us on a moment's notice, and even whipped up some yummy BBQ for dinner last night!
Enjoying the fire in the cooler temps... Although it's nowhere near the weather in Northern Michigan, where they got some snow this weekend!
Side note: The power went out during the Michigan/Michigan State game at Dale and Diane's yesterday. I was able to keep following the Royals on my iPad, but all the Michiganders were out of luck with the tv, so all the football-watchers went outside to supervise the BBQ, and Brad turned the Sirius radio on in our truck, opened the windows of the truck so they could hear, and they listened to the game out there. As a result, our truck soaked up all the yummy BBQ smell. I noticed it this morning when we were loading up to leave, and again just now as I went out to get something I left in the truck. OMG!!! It smells A-MAZE-ING in there!!!
