Ozone Falls, Crab Orchard TN

Today we took a little drive, about 15 miles away, to see Ozone Falls.  The falls are 110 ft high.  Once the water reaches the pool, it disappears underground and re-emerges 300 ft downstream.  Some of the scenes from the new "Jungle Book" movie were filmed here.
We first took the trail to the top of the falls.  Very rocky terrain, but no climbing on this part.  We started out pretty much even with the top.
Looking straight down!
Looking upstream.
Then we took the "trail" to the bottom of the falls.
Looking back up from about the halfway point.
Yeah, we climbed down... and back up... that.
Sooooooo worth it, though!
From behind the falls
Brad is working his way down.  We weren't exactly dressed for rock climbing.  I was wearing flip-flops!  We had set out this morning to get new tires for the truck, then changed our minds when the prices changed after we got there.  So, we ended up here.
There I am, waaaaaaaay over there.
This is from the far side of the falls, looking back up the trail.
One last shot from underneath.
Very cool!

The rains came in just as we got back to the RV.  Good timing again!  I have been craving burgers on the grill for awhile now, so Brad opened out the awning and got everything all set up for me.  Rain or shine, we are having burgers!
Getting the burger ingredients ready.
And the baked beans
Mmmmm... Looking good!
And the burgers are on the grill.
Almost there!
Oh yeah... Perfection!
