New Year's Eve

Today we went to see a couple of nearby attractions.  Probably the weirdest one was Stonehenge II, in Ingram.
A couple of pictures I nabbed off the website... Credits included.

There's also a couple of Easter Island guys.

We also visited the Museum of Western Art.  Very cool.  Mostly oils, a few watercolors, and some bronze statues of western scenes.  I took pictures of some of the outdoor art, but couldn't take pictures inside, so I included a few examples from their pamphlet.
An example of the types of paintings we saw inside.

For New Year's Eve night, we went to the dance hall in Luckenbach, Texas, which is just about the only thing there!  So much fun!
Brad wouldn't put on a fun hat...
This picture is for Jordan... This was hanging in the dance hall.
Random rooster sitting on one of the tables outside.  You could pet him, but he didn't appreciate being awakened.
Some pics around the outside... Several cute little buildings, and the general store, where someone is singing and playing every night.

We headed home early, to avoid the crazies on the road, and so the redneck could toast the new year with a real Bud Light, instead of the O'Douls he stuck to while we were out.

Happy 2016!
