Disney-Epcot

Today was Epcot day.
Cute topiaries at the entrance.
This garbage can band was really good!
This ride was fun!  You designed your own roller coaster, and then got in the simulator to see how you did.
The "people" along this ride were creepily realistic!
Cute Nemo guys.
We had lunch reservations at the Coral Reef restaurant in Epcot.  Very cool.  Seating was in front of this huge aquarium.  They said the aquarium is so big, the top inch of water in it would fill a standard swimming pool.  Lots of fun marine life to watch, and some scuba divers too.
Had to get our picture here.
The food was awesome!  I had the seared Mahi Mahi - with Laughing Bird Shrimp, Hearts of Palm, Jasmine Rice, Cilantro, and a Coconut-Lime Sauce, and Brad had Seared Rainbow Trout - Cannellini Beans Two Ways, Arugula-Tomato Salad, Applewood-smoked Bacon, and Balsamic Reduction (I copied those descriptions from the restaurant website!).
We found these manatees at another aquarium.
Epcot has extended hours for those of us staying at a Disney resort, so we came home about 4:00 for a break and to let Budger out.  We first took the monorail from Epcot to the Transportation center.
Then caught the ferry to Magic Kingdom.
If you keep your eyes open, you see Mickey everywhere.  I caught this one made from the ropes.
And finally hopped on this boat back to the Wilderness Resort and Campground.  We could have just taken the bus straight from Epcot, but this was more fun, and we timed all our connections just right, much better than yesterday.
When we got back to our campsite, we found these guys wandering around.
Back to Epcot after dinner to close down the park!

Scenes from around Epcot's World Showcase, and the fireworks, tonight.  We rode a few more rides, got a couple of drinks, made  friends with people with little kids about Jackson's age (Epcot would be awesome for little kids!), and decided to come home rather than close down the park.  Up and at'em tomorrrow!

Newlyweds couple

And home.  Here's a hint as to where we're headed tomorrow.
