K & L Campground, Wisconsin Dells, WI

We checked in to K & L Campground right about noon today.  We set off about 30 minutes earlier than usual this morning, because we hadn't done the full hook-up and unpack thing at Rapid River.  And then we crossed time zones and did the "let's redo that hour because it was so fun" thing, so we arrived earlier than we had planned.  This was our route today.
A last peek at Lake Michigan.  Well, I guess it was technically Green Bay.  Till next summer, Great Lakes!  I hope we can get up to Lake Superior next year!
And staying in Wisconsin tonight means scratching off a new state!
This is a really cool campground.  It would be great to bring a family with small kids.  Lots to do here, besides all the fun things in town.

Our camp site.
There's sand volleyball courts.
A pond with paddle boats and kayaks to use.
You do have to watch out for the gators, though.
And sea serpents.
A nice pool.
And playground.
And little pedal carts.
We went into the town of Wisconsin Dells to wander the river walk.  We thought about taking in our kayaks, but decided to just wander beside the water instead.
We spotted this polar bear soaking up rays.
The Riverwalk Tavern, where we got Brad a birthday drink.
My "wife of the birthday boy" Bloody Mary.
And our cocktails view
We set off again in the morning... I wonder what state we'll scratch off tomorrow??!!
