Sunday

Today was a day of getting ready to leave tomorrow.  We had intended to go to our old church one last time this morning, but I didn't sleep much last night (restless?  Thinking about packing-up stuff?  In the middle of a really good book?).  Whatever the reason, I didn't really nod off till about 5:00 a.m.  After lunch we headed into Alpena to stock up on a few supplies.  Back to the RV to nap again, and then we had really wanted to get to Cedar Grove at least once while we were back.  We used to hang out there quite a bit, before it burned down almost completely last summer.  I've been craving one of their pizzas ever since.  They don't have the kitchen going yet, but it was nice to see the part of the building that was saved, that they are using as just a bar area, as they continue to tear down the burned portion and make plans to rebuild.

We met Mary Jane and Steve there, so Brad had a chance to say a proper good bye.  Love their wine glasses!
Since we were already out, we decided we might as well have dinner at the Stone Bar one last time.  It's another place that has reopened since we've been gone.

Once we got back to the RV park, we both got busy doing a few things to save time in the morning... Stowing away the shower things, getting the seashell containers stashed away, putting in the awning, putting the tv antenna down and the Sirius antenna in.  There's not a whole lot else we can do till the morning.  We plan on pulling out about 9:00 a.m.
