Day 2 at Keaton Beach

Today started out slightly hazy, but quickly cleared off, and it's been sunshiny and super warm.  The pelicans greeted us first thing.

Brad went out to fish this morning, while I skyped with Jackson.  He really wanted me too see his train go!

After lunch we got out in the kayaks again and explored some more of the canals.  Besides pelicans, we've seen a lot of this bird...

Anyone have any idea what kind it is?

Here's one showing off for us.

Bo really enjoys relaxing in the big back window and keeping an eye on things... Or maybe napping!

Those birds keep Bo's attention, though!

We took the dogs for a walk, but they get pretty tuckered out in this weather.

Oh, this was funny... Last night we were sitting on the dock, watching the sunset with a few of the people here, and Brad's encounter with the shark came up, and so of course, other people were telling their shark stories, and then this one man said he'd heard that the sharks were leaving the California waters for some reason, and coming to the gulf... You know, swimming around Baja and around the southern tip of Texas into the Gulf of Mexico.   Ummmm.... Okay.  ?????

Tonight's sunset pics:

Happy hour on the dock:
