Last day at the Brickyard Plantation

So today is our last day here.  We've really enjoyed our time here, and I think we caught all the local attractions that we wanted to.  Next stop is for a week on the Florida coast, in Keaton Beach.  It's a tiny little community just below the panhandle on the Gulf side.  We're stocking up on supplies before we get there, because it's a little remote... Ought to be a nice week there!

Brad is out golfing one more time, and I've got a parade and celebration ceremony to watch a little later today!  The rest of the day will be filled with putting things like the golf clubs, bikes, and camp chairs away, and being sure we're ready to roll in the morning!

And WOW!  I watched the Kansas City Victory Parade and Rally today online... What an amazing event.  This is the best picture I found to show how many people were there... And many, many more were at the parade.  Most people probably couldn't get to both, logistically.

HO-LEE COW!!!  All the blue you see?  People!!!  People were abandoning their cars along the interstate, and walking in.  Amazing.  Last estimate I heard was up to a million people.  That's like twice the population of Kansas City.

Here's another amazing pic:
