Old Pavilion RV Park, Keaton Beach, FL

We took off from Americus GA this morning about 8:30, and got here to Keaton Beach just after noon. This park is exactly as advertised... Not fancy, in a tiny little town, not a big "happening" place... But we are backed right up to the gulf, everything is neat and clean, a grounds crew was here mowing and weed-eating when we arrived, and the view is amazing!!  This is out our back living room window... Seriously, I could be in the water in about 20 steps!

We even have some visitors:

I can't wait for Budger to catch sight of one of those pelicans!

We're heading out in a bit to explore the town and beach.

We walked through part of the "town"... Seems to be a mix of locals and part-time residents.  We walked to the park in town, which had a decent beach.  Here's our obligatory beach selfie.  We were standing in the incredibly warm water!

This is looking back at the RV park.  Ours is there somewhere, right beside the beach.

And oh my goodness... The shells!  I could have picked up 25 like this!  But I have to be picky.  There was one that was so colorful, but it definitely still had somebody still living in it, and he wasn't happy about me picking him up!  So these are the ones that I collected today.

Pelican tree!

Bo likes the view from the back windows!

We thought we'd go check out one of the town's eateries for dinner tonight.  More later!
