Sunday in Holcomb

Today Brad, Jackson, Abby, and I met Jordan for lunch at Tacos El Tapatio.  It's a really authentic Mexican restaurant, one of those hole-in-the-wall looking places, menu just printed up on the wall (and all dishes written in Spanish... Good thing they include pictures!). We've been there before, and were excited to go again.

Then Brad, Jackson, and I hitched a ride back to the zoo with Jordan while Abby got some errands done.  Jordan gave us a driving tour through the zoo, pointing out some of the updates they've done since the last time we were here, and giving us some background info on some of the animals.

We parked and walked around some of the exhibits too.  Here we're at the entrance to Cat Canyon.
The river otters
Jackson enjoyed watching the otters swim.
Sarus crane
Snow leopard
Takin
Pallas' cat.  This is a new exhibit since we were here.
Jackson had to visit the bear carrying a fish.
We got to visit the baby goral, May.  So cute!
One of the new rhinos, Johari.
And the giraffes.
Papa Brad and Jackson had to see the choo choo.
Jackson picked out his clothes for today, by the way, in case you wondered.  Love a kid with style.
Abby, Jackson, Brad, and I came home after that, and all crashed for naps.
