Wednesday-Thursday in Holcomb

Wednesday, Jackson and Papa Brad and I hung out while Momma worked in her classroom to get ready for school to start.

We started out with some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
And had a picnic lunch in the living room.

Wednesday night we watched the Garden City Wind play ball.  They are an independent league team, not part of MLB, and are in the Pecos League.
Had to have a hot dog and some nachos!
The boy was focused... For awhile.  I think he likes Daddy's softball games better.
After the third inning, the kids got to run the bases.  Jackson decided to take a shortcut.
When we got home, Jackson was excited to get to sleep in his new big boy bed that Daddy built.

Thursday while Momma got a haircut, we watched some Lion Guard, played some baseball, and Jackson colored and painted a couple of pictures for me.
Then Jackson and I enjoyed the shade in the front yard.  Sticks, rocks, a truck, and a few songs can keep a little guy entertained a long while.
Jackson got a haircut when Momma got home.  He said he'd go get the clippers, and this is what he brought out.
Once the correct tools were collected, the haircut commenced.
Papa Brad wore the birthday shirt Jordan, Abby, and Jackson gave him for his birthday.
We had a bit of a stormy evening after an extremely hot day, but the worst of it ended up going north of us.  Jackson, Papa Brad, and I were going to watch a baseball movie tonight while Jordan and Abby went to a going away party for a friend, but decided we'd better watch a local tv channel instead.

One thing the storms did do is lower the temps about 25 degrees, so sleeping ought to be better tonight.
