Back to the beach

We haven't been out to the beach to walk for a few days, because of rain or wind or whatever, so it was nice to get out there again today.  It was empty for a little bit.

But soon we were sharing it with all kinds of people, mostly families, because the kids were out of school for MLK Day.

This afternoon we decided to mix things up a bit, and take our bikes out to the beach.  That was fun, because we can cover so much more ground on the bikes, so we got to see some new houses we haven't seen before.  I decided that next time we take the bikes, though, it would be best to ride into the wind first... Those last few miles after we turned around were tough!

We got in 9 miles, though!
