Sunny Sunday

We had an interesting wake-up call this morning... The electricity kept shutting off in the park for some reason.  I was awakened by the sound of the printer turning on and off.  Brad was already up, and he thought our electric fireplace had a short or something.  The lights and refrigerator will keep working with no electricity... Everything just switches to battery power, so it was a little confusing at first as to what was going on.  But then we saw the lights outside at each campsite kept going off and on.

No clue what was happening, since it's nice and warm, and the winds are only about 8 or 9 mph.  Everything finally got back to normal, which is good, because the coffee maker is one thing that doesn't run on battery.  I was really wishing we had brought along my dad's old camp percolator for awhile!

We got out and walked the beach fairly early, which was nice, because we hadn't been out there for a couple of days, with the temps being a little lower, and the high winds.  Great shelling day!  Definitely putting a new container for them on the shopping list!

Off to watch the football games later with Bruce and Roberta... Is there any way the Patriots and Broncos can both lose??

We stopped at the store on the way to Bruce and Roberta's, and I got a new shell container.  Ready to start getting it filled now!

It was a really nice day today, so we sat outside to watch the football game on their outdoor tv.  Somewhere during the game, I realized that I really wanted the Patiots to lose, so at least that part was good.  Bruce and Roberta are from Colorado, so of course they were rooting for Denver.
Tonight we met our new friends Jane and Gerry out at the beach to watch the sunset and the moon rise.  They are leaving here tomorrow, but I hope we cross paths with them again!
