2 days left in Galveston

We got out for an early-ish (8:00) walk this morning, because we were heading into Houston for the RV show later on.  I thought the tides would be higher this morning, but they had gone down again overnight, and we were able to walk on the sandbar again.  It's a pretty lucky place to walk, because I found another sand dollar!!  They are so cool!
That makes four total that I found here this year!  Last year I only found one, and I broke it as we got back to the camper.  The other shell is apparently one that Budger picked up and brought home.  We didn't know he had it, but he dropped it on the floor of the RV when we got back.

The RV show was fun.  We did some dreaming and looked for ideas we could use in ours.  It was fun looking at some of the very small travel trailers, some fifth wheels about our size, some a little bigger, and some Super C's and Class A's.  Boy, they sure were pretty!  And they had a few vintage trailers to view.  A person could have spent anywhere from $20,000, up to $300,000+ if they'd wanted to.  I'm sure we got in the equivalent of our afternoon walk just wandering around the convention center.  We were reminded of what we don't like about Houston when leaving... The traffic!  We left at 3:30, and rush hour had already started!

We finally made it back to Galveston, made a quick stop at the store for groceries and another container for shells, and then were glad to get back to our peaceful part of the island.  Just one more full day here before we take off for new adventures.
