More trails exploring

We set out this morning to check out another of the trails here at the park.  The sand on the trails is beautiful, but it takes much more work to walk on this white sugar sand than it did on the beach in Galveston!  We got in almost 4 miles.
The water that we were walking around is called Grand Lagoon.

Now that we're back, Budger is keeping an eye out for any intruders at the picnic table.

We met up with the Hubbard Lake gang again this afternoon at Peggy and Ed's.  This is the view from their balcony, looking at the Gulf.
And this is straight off their balcony, looking at the bay.
Carol and Dan have an equally beautiful view on the other end of the building.

We had a fun evening eating Peggy's taco soup, and playing Wizard, while Brad and I took advantage of their giant washer and dryer, since we can't do our laundry here at the state park.

This is apparently where the pepper belongs now... We've had the salt and pepper shakers sitting on our table for three years at Hubbard Lake, and Bo never touched them... And they've been on the table in the RV since we took off in October.  Suddenly, Bo doesn't like the pepper any more.  We keep finding it on the floor.
