Smoky walk

After lazing around most of the morning, we set out on a walk on the road that winds through the park, intending to cut in on one of the paths, but most were closed due to some prescribed burning the Rangers were doing.  It made part of our walk a little smoky, but they seemed to be keeping it well contained, because, although we could hear the crackling of dead leaves and brush burning, we couldn't ever see any flames.  Well, Brad did, a little, at one point, but I wasn't tall enough to see it.
Even from the top of the observation tower, there weren't any flames visible.
This is back on the road behind our campsite.
And there's our RV, through the wood.

Tonight we went to eat at Vallarta Mexican Restaurant.  So good.  It was All Day Margarita day today... Not sure what that meant, but this was my margarita.
Brad had his usual taco salad.
And I had a burrito with fajita beef.  Oh so Good!
Just settling in for an evening of Idol now.  I think this may be the best season in quite a long while.
