Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola/Perdido Key/Orange Beach

We arrived at Big Lagoon State Park around 2:00 and got set up, and wandered a bit around the park.  This is our spot:
Most of the spots are pretty set off from each other, even though they are not that far apart.  There is just a lot of vegetation between each spot, so it just feels isolated.

This state park, like most state parks, does not have sewer hookups, so it is nice that we are just across the little road from the bath house.
This is the first place we've stayed that hasn't had the sewer hookup, so it will take a little getting used to!

We took a quick walk around the campground after we got set up.

Then we were excited to get in to Orange Beach, and meet up with Hubbard Lake friends!!

Dan and Brad:
Carol and me:

We met up at a place called Cobalt, which is right beside the condo complex where Csrol and Dan, and also Peggy and Ed, are staying.  We're hoping to be able to catch up with Peggy and Ed tomorrow, too.

This was our view tonight.
And sunset:

It was a pretty long drive today, so we're ready for an early evening!
